Maureen Bell is a public speaking and presentation coach, who has been helping individuals maximise their potential and confidence for over eight years. She achieves these outcomes by providing people with the practical tools to harness their individual strengths when they speak and present. To improve communication and presentation skills, Maureen does one-on-one presentation training, runs programs for a diverse range of companies, and facilitates small and large group training sessions. Maureen began her career at Flight Centre. Her excellent performance saw her progress through the company, from Store Manger to Novice Training Centre Manager, Global Management Training Centre Manager, to Training Manager of Australia, and ultimately, Human Resource Manager of Flight Centre USA. Maureen’s rise was driven by her excellent interpersonal and communication skills—a fact illustrated when she was asked to develop and deliver a national Leadership Training program which was adopted by Flight Centre across all global operations.
However, it was in her role as a facilitator of large group sessions (up to 500 people) that she realised what a negative impact a lack of public speaking skills could have on people’s lives and careers. Her passion to rectify this encouraged her to strike out from the top echelons of Flight Centre, and start her own business coaching people to Speak with Presence.
